Coronavirus (COVID 19) Update
K9 Design: we are you local dog groomers open during the Coronavirus. We are booking dog grooming appointments and providing touchless payments.
What To Expect Before and During Your Dogs’ Visit:
Please call the day of your appointment so we can ask you the required COVID questions. Once you arrive, park at the curb right outside our front door and come in. If you have a small to medium sized dog please place your dog in one of the provided kennels in the front lobby. If your dog is larger and does not fit in the provided kennel we will personally take your dog back. If needed, you may talk to us about your grooming needs and instructions at this time. Here at K9 Design we rotate our dogs. We require at least 4 hours per dog (even for small chihuahua’s). This ensures that each dog gets their appropriate breaks and quality attention from each employee during their stay.
Unfortunately, we DO NOT MUZZLE or accept dogs that may show aggression in any form. Alongside aggression, we do not accept dogs that may be a high risk to injury due to lack of cooperation. This includes, basic handling in order to complete the groom, excessive wiggling, nipping due to brushing or grooming, non-tolerance to the blow dryer and nail trimming. If nail trimming is the only concern we would be more than happy to either exclude this service or provide 2 groomers (unless safety is a concern). Our top priorities are always the safety, happiness and stress levels for everyone: clients, employees and of course, our beloved pets.
Once your dog has completed their rotation we will inform you by call or text. We ask that you please wait for our phone call before arriving to pick up. This ensures that your dog is ready. When you come to pick up, we encourage all clients to converse with us about how your pups’ day went! This would also be the time to reschedule your appointment. Here at K9 Design Grooming Salon we really do love treating your pup to a spa day! We can’t wait to see you and your precious pup!
ATTENTION NEW CLIENTS: Please have your dogs vaccination records ready. We do require them before we service your K9. You may bring them the day of your appointment or email it to email@example.com. Thank you!
